Rushcliffe Pre-school has been serving the community of West Bridgford and the surrounding area for over 30 years. It was originally situated in Rushcliffe Leisure Centre on Boundary road until 2010, when it was due to be closed. Diane and I both worked within the Pre-School at the time and had a healthy waiting list and over 20 children on register. We did not want to see these parents and children without childcare, so we approached Nottingham County Council regarding a new premises and they kindly offered us the use of the playroom in there brand new Children Centre that was being built on the grounds of Abbey Road school. On the 3rd of May 2011 we opened up Rushcliffe Pre-school at Abbey Road Children Centre and all the children we had on roll and their parents transitioned with us.

We were fortunate that two other staff members came with us and Diane and I became the proud owners of Rushcliffe Pre-school CIC, which later changed to a LTD company in 2017. In January 2020 we received our Outstanding grading from Ofsted and were commended on our teaching and learning which we were exceptionally proud of.

Our staff my have changed over the years, but we are proud of all our staff that have worked with us. The amazing work they have all done and continue to do, to support the children and families of Rushcliffe Pre-School.
